New Non-Profit Launched in Orange County to Assist Schools

Mission Viejo, Calif. (PRWEB) June 27, 2007 -- With increasing demands on budgets in public schools, funding for new technology often becomes a low priority. Concerned about the lack of technology in classrooms and schools' ability to protect children using the Internet, Elizabeth Zayas has organized and launched FoudationCare, a non-profit founded to purchase new technology for schools.

FoundationCare is dedicated to making certain that schools have the technology they need to give students the best possible education, and ensuring that the Internet is a safe place for children. The organization works closely with schools to support fundraising efforts and offer recommendations for maximizing technology investments. FoundationCare also sponsors seminars for parents and educators about how to protect children from adult predators and inappropriate content on the Internet.

"My first-hand experience with the reality of limited school budgets and the dangers children face on the Internet inspired me to help create FoundationCare, and I am excited by the possibilities of what we hope to achieve," said Elizabeth Zayas, Founder and Executive Director of FoundationCare.

Zayas was formerly the Director of Client Services for Mission Viejo-based 360 Business Consulting. The company is currently interviewing candidates to replace Zayas, and is a founding sponsor of FoundationCare.
